We are incredibly proud to present Dickie — a handsome yellow male who exemplifies the heart of our preservation program at EverOak Labradors & Sussex Spaniels.  UPDATE: Dickie completes his AKC Grand Championship on 03/01/2026. Not only did his extraordinary professional handler Crystal Helton Brooks guide Dickie to complete his AKC Championship, but together they stepped back into the ring and completed his Grand Championship in just eight shows — an extraordinary accomplishment. All but one of his GCH points came from major wins, a testament to the consistency, quality, and strength of this team. I could not be more proud of the partnership they formed and the monumental feat they achieved together.

In just his ninth AKC show (as of 01/17/2026), Dickie completed his AKC Championship. The very next day, he captured his first Grand Championship 4-Point Major. He has since earned all three required GCH majors, and we look forward to completing his AKC Grand Championship — with hopes of adding a hunt title to further showcase his versatility and breed purpose.

Dickie represents everything we strive to protect and preserve. He is the result of a thoughtfully planned pedigree, carefully selected for structure, temperament, and true English Labrador type. He is affectionate, steady, playful, and gentle — a dog who carries himself beautifully in the ring and settles quietly at home. Structurally correct and temperamentally sound, he is exactly the vision we had when this breeding was planned.

We are honored to have Dickie as part of the EverOak breeding program, carrying forward legacy bloodlines while safeguarding the future of the Labrador Retriever.

All breeding Labradors at EverOak are DNA tested for coat color and specifically for the “D” locus (dilution gene). We are proud to confirm that every Labrador in our program is 100% dilute free (DD).

As preservation breeders, we believe protecting the written breed standard is not optional — it is our responsibility. Through comprehensive health testing and documented genetic screening, we ensure that pigment, structure, and long-term breed consistency remain uncompromised.

On Sunday, November 2 Dickie (CH Timber's Khaki Twill At EverOak Stonebay), after being awarded his Championship the day before brings home his first Grand Championship 4 PT MAJOR by going Select Dog at Space Coast Kennel Club of Palm Bay under Judge Mr. George E. Marquis.
