Older Puppies & Adult Dogs
FEMALE YOUNGSTER AVAILABLE
Sometimes the best plans change, and while we originally intended to keep Cricket (registered name EverOak Midnight's Serenade, born May 5, 2025) as part of our show and breeding program, we have decided that her future is best suited as a beloved family companion.
Cricket is a beautiful black female with a sweet, affectionate personality. At 14 months old, she is still very much a puppy—playful, happy, and full of life. She loves being with her people and will make a wonderful addition to the right family.
She is genetically clear for all health conditions we test for and is current on all vaccinations and heartworm prevention. Cricket comes from exceptional bloodlines and is the daughter of Lucas × Journey, (click on name to be taken to their webpage for more information) with both parents holding AKC Grand Champion titles.
The only reason Cricket is available is that she maturing on the smaller side than what we typically retain for our breeding program. We expect her adult weight to be approximately 70 pounds, making her an excellent size for an active family looking for a well-bred Labrador with outstanding temperament and quality. Cricket will be placed on AKC Limited Registration, meaning she is being sold strictly as a companion and will not include breeding rights. She will also be sold with a mandatory spay agreement, requiring that she be spayed between 18 and 24 months of age.
Finding the right home is our highest priority. We are looking for a family that will love Cricket as much as we do and provide her with a lifetime of companionship, adventure, and care. If you feel Cricket may be the perfect fit for your family, we would be delighted to speak with you.

Dilute Gene Testing & Coat Color Integrity
The EverOak Commitment
Due to continued controversy surrounding silver and other diluted coat colors, all Labradors in our program are DNA tested for coat color and specifically for the “D” locus (dilution gene).
We are proud to state that every Labrador at EverOak is 100% dilute free (DD).
As preservation breeders, we remain steadfast in protecting the health, pigment, structure, and integrity of the Labrador Retriever — not just in words, but through documented genetic testing.
